About BrickCrunch
BrickCrunch makes UK property and money decisions easier to understand — with calculators that are accurate, clearly explained, and free to use.
Why we built it
Most UK calculators either oversimplify (ignoring things like the 5% stamp duty surcharge or Section 24) or bury the answer behind sign-up walls and adverts. BrickCrunch does the opposite: every result is shown on the page, every figure is checked against gov.uk, and every tool comes with a plain-English explanation and a worked example so you understand the number, not just see it.
Built on real property experience
BrickCrunch is run by a UK property investor with hands-on experience of the strategies these tools model — including Buy-Refurbish-Refinance (BRR) projects, HMOs, social housing lets and the tax realities of being a UK landlord under Section 24. That experience is why our property pages go deeper than the typical AI-generated copycat: we’ve actually run the numbers on real deals.
Our accuracy promise
UK tax and rate figures — Stamp Duty bands, the additional-property surcharge, Section 24 relief, income tax and National Insurance, ISA allowances, Capital Gains Tax — are verified against gov.uk before they ship, and each calculator shows the date its figures were last checked (21 June 2026 (2026/27 tax year)). Rates change, and we update them as they do. If you ever spot something that looks wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it fast.
Important
BrickCrunch provides general information and estimates only. It is not financial, tax, mortgage or legal advice, and it can’t account for your personal circumstances. Always confirm figures with gov.uk or a qualified professional before making a financial decision.
